If you’re thinking of applying (or re-applying!), you might feel intimidated or nervous about our interview process. No process is perfect, but ultimately we're looking for the kinds of people who will succeed here: quick entrepreneurial learners who are mission aligned and fit for the role. (Or any role!)

Here are three things we look for throughout the hiring process:

1. Energetic Builders with a High Rate-Of-Learning

We look for Idea Maze Speedrunners: folks who can speedrun the idea maze to speedbuild idea machines.

We hire for potential, not experience.

Our positions are extremely entrepreneurial. We’re looking for:

Whatever you are shipping (code, writing, education), we expect you to ship early and often.

We’ve found that we’re drawn to highly energetic people. Do we have more energy after talking to you? This is related to stamina—do you have the long-term grit to build something special with us?

We’re also drawn to people who can processes information quickly. In interviews and writing, we look for specific and concise communication.

For speaking: Practice your answers. Don’t ramble in abstractions!

For writing: Structure your writing with section headers, bullet points and bold. Review your writing for copy errors.
